Mercedes introduces a new basic version of the CLS model, powered by a 2.1 liter diesel engine capable of delivering 204 horsepower and 500 Nm, with a consumption of just 5.1 litres/100 km.
Following the precedent set with the release of the S250 CDI Mercedes S-Class model, the German manufacturer introduced four-cylinder engine and new-generation CLS.
Four-door coupe have such an entry-level version, powered by diesel engine with a capacity of 2.1 liters, capable of delivering a total of 204 horsepower and 500 Nm. According to officials in Stuttgart, as in the case of S-Class, the version will try to provide an optimal compromise between performance and efficiency.
Thus, the new CLS 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY resources will be sufficient to propel the four-door coupe from 0 to 100 km / h in just 7.5 seconds, while promising a top speed of 242 km / h. Even so, the value remains relatively low consumption of only 5.1 liters per 100 kilometers.
